The interior decoration of the church was completely renovated after 85 years with donations from the Budapest Evangelical Bishop's Office, the faithful of Sajógömör and the Hungarian brotherhood in Stuttgart, during the service of pastor Dezső Rusznyák, in 2004–2005.
