The grave of parish priest Ferenc Epölyi

Cemeteries, tombstones, graves

Ferenc Epölyi (Eipl) (1854–1925) was a prolific parish priest from Nagykálna who remained in Czechoslovakia after 1920. Under the pseudonym "Tatai", his writings were regularly published in the illustrated children's magazine "Őrangyal", which was published twice a month: on the 1st and 15th of each month, illustrated with at least 2 pictures. Its length was usually 8-8 pages per issue, sometimes - on the occasion of major church holidays - 16-16 pages, which can be considered quite respectable.
