Memorial plaque in memory of the victims of World War I
Statue, monument, memorial plaque
In the interior of the church, there are three rather large plaques. The plaque on the right wall of the vestibule under the tower, known as the “Small Church”, is made of white Carrara marble. It was made by stonemason Viktor Komáromy, the wrought iron frame was designed by painter Károly Harmos, with oak and ivy leaves, and above the 61 gilded names is a huge turul bird with outstretched wings, holding a laurel wreath in its beak with its head bowed. The plaque commemorates the victims of the 1914–1919 World War in Kamocsa, was made with donations from grieving relatives, and was consecrated on March 1, 1925 by Rev. Pastor Kálmán Boross. ; ;  ,
