Memorial plaque to the benefactors of the village
Statue, monument, memorial plaque
The village elementary school was built in 1936 with donations from the farmers of Vők, who did not regret the sacrifice. The most generous were János Mikóczi and Illés Hideghéthy, who donated seven acres of land to the teacher. Out of gratitude, the people of Vők had a memorial plaque made in their honor. After decades of exile, it was returned to the school wall on the village day held in 2002. The building houses a kindergarten, where ten children spend their days.
