In 1947-48, they also tried to remove the Hungarian population of the village of Izsap from their homeland. On January 15, 1947, some of them were served with the decision on deportation. On January 18, 1947, the people of Izsap, 102 people (adults, children), were transported to the Czech Republic together with the people of Gellért, for forced labor. They wanted to resettle those who remained at home to Hungary. 36 families were designated to be resettled to Hungary. In memory of the deportation, in 2012, the Izsap IQUS Civic Association placed a memorial plaque at the Izsap Reformed Church.
