1. Before you, my Jesus, I bow down, ; I surrender as a disobedient sinner. ; To you, my Savior, I cry out, ; Under the form of bread and wine, whom I worship. ; ; 2. To save me, you created me, ; From hell and death you saved me. ; But until now I have renewed my torment, ; And have not opened my heart to you. ; ; 3. I now accuse myself of having sinned, ; I have despised your holy grace. ; Therefore, I repent of my sin from my heart, ; Cleanse my soul, my Jesus. ; ; 4. I accept the improvement of my life, ; I remove the offense of God. ; After this, I will be more ready to die, ; Than to turn away from you, my God.
