Slovak Hungarian writer, literary and theater critic, publicist. ; Born in Gömörhorka on April 12, 1951. After graduating from elementary school in Gömörhorka and Pelsőc, he was a student at the Secondary Mechanical Engineering School in Košice between 1966 and 1970. He completed his university studies between 1974 and 1980 as a correspondence student at the ELTE Department of Library Science of Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest. In the meantime, between 1970 and 1976, he worked as a technician at the Gömöri Cellulóz- és Papírgyár (GCP) in Gömörhorka. ; Editor and chief collaborator of Nő between 1976 and 1981, and Új Szó between 1981 and 2001, and freelance journalist after 2001 until his early death. ; The II. a characteristic and remarkable figure of Hungarian intellectual and literary life in (Czechoslovakia) after World War II. His journalistic writings, reports, news reports, and accounts appeared mainly in the columns of Nő and Új Szó, he collected his theater and literary criticism writings and studies in a separate volume (Nézőtéri napló 1981-1990, 1992), wrote a novelette (Fapihék, 1999), and a literary monograph (Zs. Nagy Lajos, 2000). His selected literary studies and criticisms were published posthumously, edited by Gábor Csanda (A papír partján, 2003). In recognition of his journalistic work, the Márai Sándor Foundation awarded him the Open Europe Award in 2001. ; He took an active role in the Hungarian amateur acting movement in Slovakia. In his memory, the most talented groups of the national competition of Hungarian school puppeteers and actors in Slovakia, the Duna Menti Tavasz event in Dunaszerdahely, are awarded the Dusza István Prize every year. ; He died in Bratislava on January 9, 2002. ; ; Works: ; The Tale and Stage Forms.
