Endre Dudich (Nagysalló, March 20, 1895 – Budapest, February 5, 1971) Kossuth Prize-winning Hungarian zoologist, academician, university professor of systematic zoology and zoogeography, entomologist, Kossuth Prize-winning Hungarian scientist, researcher of the fauna of the Baradla Cave. ; On November 28, 2015, the community of Nagysalló ceremoniously unveiled the commemorative plaque placed on the wall of the municipal office, which was made by the local Csemadok in honor of Endre Dudich, Kossuth Prize-winning Hungarian scientist, zoologist professor, university professor, speleologist, academician, who was born on March 20, 1895 in Nagysalló. ; The plaque inauguration was honored with the presence of two of Professor Dudich's grandchildren from Budapest, Ákos Dudich and Imre Dudich, but several more distant relatives of the scientist were also present. In the second part of the ceremony, interested parties could hear a presentation about the researcher's life and work.
