Dr. Béla Polony ; The joint branch of the Hungarian National Association of Doctors in Komárom and Érsekújvár held its founding general meeting in Komárom at the Jókai Association's cultural center. The general meeting was attended by university professor Ferenc Orsós, led by the national president of MONÉ, and the delegation of Komárom County and the city. ; Dr. Béla Polony was elected as its managing director. After Dr. János Mezey took the chair as president, Dr. Béla Polony gave a lecture entitled "Does the Highland spirit have medical aspects?". He was the chief physician of the "Emberszeretet" public hospital in Komárom. Later he became the owner of the Purkyne gold medal. ; ; József Kuppis (Dr. Béla Polony's father-in-law) ; Returning from Lower Danube in 1893, he again entered state service and worked in Komárom as the head of the state architecture office. In 1897, he was awarded the Military Gold Cross of Merit in recognition of his services during the great military exercises in Komárom County. ; Kuppis Józsefné née Leona Reviczky, widow of the technical advisor, Virt-puszta. Her late husband was born in 1859 in Vásárosnamény, finished high school and university in Budapest, then entered the state service. He participated in the regulation of the Iron Gate. ; He worked in several places, was the head of the state architectural office in Komárom. In 1910, he retired and became an independent farmer on 24 acres in Virt-puszta. Several of his scientific works were published. He was a member of the county committee. He died in 1928. His children: Alisz, Leona, Margit, Sarolta and Emma.
