Dr. Gyula Mag was born in September 1932 and died on March 14, 2016. During the 1968 consolidation, he moved to Dunaszerdahely after serving as the director of the Bélyi Elementary School in Bodrogköz. From October 1, 1976, he headed the Csallóköz Museum for twenty-two years. He was a member of the national presidency and the Central Committee of the Csemadok for decades. After moving to Dunaszerdahely, he worked as a member of the district presidency of the Csemadok and was also a member of the management of the city organization. After his retirement, he regularly participated in the events of the Vámbéry Foundation. ; When the Contemporary Hungarian Gallery Foundation was established, he was the vice-chairman of the board of trustees for several years from 1994.
