Born in Bratislava in 1850 and died here in 1919. Son of the chief magistrate of Bratislava, Mihály Dobrovits. He studied in Vienna and has been a doctor of medicine since 1875. ; Doctor of universal medicine, chief physician of the Bratislava State Hospital, professor of public health at the Augustinian Lutheran Theological Academy, chairman of the Bratislava City Public Health Committee, chairman of the Bratislava Lyceum Council, member of several scientific associations (Bratislava Medical and Natural Sciences Association), dermatologist.
