István Dillesz Dicskei worked as the postmaster of Verebély. "Verebély was the oldest post office in the county, whose delivery district extended from Körmöczbánya, Aranyos-Marót, Surány and the Ársek-Újvár line to the entire Bajcs puszta. The post office at that time belonged to the Dillesz family from Dicske, who were the first to introduce Hungarian-language postal forms in the country. It is known that at that time the post office owners were obliged to have the necessary forms prepared at their own expense, of course in German. István Dillesz, the owner of the post office in Verebély around 1840, inspired by the pro-reform patriotic movement that was spreading more and more in the county at that time, eliminated the German forms and printed Hungarian ones in their place, naming the Recepisse "Vevény" and the Retour-Recepisse "Viszány". One of these forms came into the hands of the editor of the Pesti Hirlap at the time: Lajos Kossuth, who warmly welcomed István Dillesz in a letter for this "ice-breaking" initiative, recommending "Térti vevény" instead of the word "Viszány". Thus, the two most frequently used expressions of the Hungarian postal institution were born in Verebély. ; István Dillesz's son, Sándor Dillesz, was a public and promissory lawyer, a representative of Bars county, a member of the county's legislative committee, the chief civil servant of the Verebély district and the founder of the Aranyosmarót museum.
