The grave of priest Ferenc Csiba

Csiba Ferenc dr. bölcs. dr. phil. dr. theol. parish priest (1883. Jan. 21 - 1946. Jan.) ; Born in Solymoskarcsa, Bratislava County. He completed his secondary school in Esztergom, his theological studies in Rome at the Collegium Germanico-Hungaricum between 1902-1909, and in 1909 he obtained a doctorate in philosophy and theology. He was ordained a priest on October 28, 1908. In 1909 he was a chaplain in Esztergom–Víziváros, in 1910 a catechist in Komárom, in 1911 a catechist in the 1st district of Budapest. In 1912 he was a diocesan censor. He received his parish appointment in Balony in July 1918, and remained in 1920, when the village was transferred to Czechoslovakia as a result of the Trianon Peace Treaty. In 1937, he was an administrator in Bős, and from 1938 he returned to Hungary and became a parish priest. However, in 1945, his parish belonged to Czechoslovakia again.
