Sándor Brányik (Vízkelet, March 2, 1910 – Csilizpatas, August 14, 1980) was a Reformed pastor. ; ; He graduated from the Hungarian Gymnasium in Bratislava in 1928, then continued his studies at the Reformed Theological Academy in Losonc. He first became an assistant pastor in Búcs, then during World War II he was a pastor in Prešov until 1945. After 1945 he served in Bajánháza, Szomotor, and then in Hardicsá between 1951 and 1955. He was the pastor of Csilizpatas between 1956 and 1980. During World War II, he baptized hundreds of Jews in Žilina and elsewhere and saved their lives. He was forced into hiding due to harassment by the Slovak authorities.
