Grave of folk dancer and choreographer Ferenc Brandl

Folk dancer, freelance choreographer. Born on June 20, 1958 in Dunaszerdahely, died on November 22, 2013 in Dunaszerdahely. He danced in the Szőttes from a young age, and since 1986 he has been a folk dance performer at the City Cultural Center in Dunaszerdahely, and the leader of the Csallóközi Song and Dance Ensemble. Here, in this position, he found himself, consciously taking on and continuing the choreographic style of his teacher János Quittner. After several years abroad in Israel, he returned to his hometown. During this period of his creative life, he created valuable programs for his ensemble and organized dance theater evenings. He was the leader of several children's folk dance groups in the region, he was the man who lived for folk dance.
