Pap János Bomb and Ferencz obtained a coat of arms from King Miksa on November 23, 1570, which was proclaimed in 1574. The family originates from Galánta, from where it also takes its first name. The family has had a branch of descendants. The last member is Angéla Bomb, who married Barnabás Frideczky (Barnabás Frideczky (1813-1887), tax collector, major of the national guard in 1848/49), and lives in Galánta. ; Crest: argent and vermilion, above three (1:2) six-pointed vermilion(?) stars, below a white bull's head pierced by an arrow through its nose. Helmet decoration: between open black wings three stars in a shield shine. Blankets: vermilion.
