Bodon Mihály, nicknamed the kind-hearted, was a farmer and peasant named Miska Bíró. His son, the kind-hearted Bodon Gyula, died in World War I on the battlefield in Galicia near Ravaruska. The family cast a bell for the Reformed Church of Nemesradnót for the glory of God and in memory of their son who died a heroic death. The “Gyula” bell was consecrated on July 9, 1933. The 614 kg, 110 cm in diameter and 85 cm high bronze bell was made by the bell-caster Béla Buchner from Košice. The consecration prayer was said by the dean of Hanva, Pál Ablonczy. On the front side, it says “Gyula” and the name of the bell-caster, on the back: The eternal Trinity For the glory of God In memory of our son Gyula who died a heroic death in World War I on August 26, 1914, the bell-caster from Nemesradnót. The church was founded by Mihály Bodon and his wife Mária Varga and their granddaughter Ilonka. ; The granddaughter Gézáné Pósa sz. Ilona Bodon supported the renovation with a significant amount of 30,000 crowns on the occasion of the major renovation of the Reformed Church in Nemesradnót in 1994.
