Lajos Bodon was born in Rimaszombat in 1891. He completed his studies at the Losonc General Teacher Training Institute and received his excellent diploma in June 1911. The young teacher took up his post in Nemesradnót on October 4, 1911, and the dean installed him in office on October 5. He was taken prisoner during World War I, until then György Héthy replaced him, and after returning home he started teaching in Nemesradnót again, until the end of World War II, when a Slovak teacher was brought to the village. Lajos Bodon organized numerous Pósa celebrations and directed plays in Nemesradnót until the 1950s, and in the 1960s he served as a cantor in Nemesradnót. He died in Rimaszombat in 1971, and is buried in the public cemetery. (Based on the collection of editor Erzsó Pósa Homoly.)
