Miklós Bercsényi visited Érsekújvár several times between 1704 and 1708. The plaque on the wall of the Franciscan monastery, which is one story high, is the work of András Tóth (1858-1929), a sculptor from Debrecen. The plaque was removed after World War I and was returned to its place in 1939.
