Bényi Castle

Building, structure

The vacant Pálffy hunting lodge was home to Polish refugees between 1939 and 1945. The castle was bombed in the early spring of 1945, forcing the remaining residents to leave the village. The castle was demolished and scattered in the early 1950s out of spite, leaving only a few photographs to remember it by.
