Szabó Dávid Baróti (Barót, April 10, 1739 – Virt, November 22, 1819) was a Hungarian poet and language reformer, Jesuit, later a secular priest and teacher. ; The Csemadok commemorated the poet and priest teacher Szabó Dávid Baróti with the György Bartusz memorial plaque. ; The Baroque-style building, on which the relief plaque was placed in 1995, was once a Jesuit monastery. Here, in this building, Szabó Dávid Baróti taught. Here, together with Ferenc Kazinczy and János Batsányi, they founded the journal "Magyar Museum".
