Jusztin Baross (* 1857. II. 26., Pruzsina - † 1913. III. 18., Trenčín) politician. His father was Antal Baross (1819–1894) from Bellusi, a district judge, and his mother was Natália Mária Teodóra Pongrácz from Szentmiklós and Óvár (1825–1916). He was the younger brother of Gábor Baross (1848–1892), the founder of modern Hungarian trade and transport. ; He completed his secondary schooling in Trenčín and Nagyszombat, and his law studies in Bp. and Bratislava (1878). ; From 1878 he worked in the public administration of Trenčín vm.: central sub-notary (1878–1884), chief civil servant judge of the Bán district (1884–1891), Trenčín vm. Vice-governor (1891–1901 and 1908–1913). Member of Parliament for the Liberal Party, then the Constitutional Party (from 1906) (Trenčín constituency, 1901–1908). ; He also served as the first president of the first sports association of the city of Trenčín, the Trenčín Sports Club. ; He died at the age of 56. His grave - which also contains the remains of his wife, mother and son - can be found in the Trenčín cemetery.
