Statue, monument, memorial plaque

The three memorial plaques: ; - To Márton L Koncz, a benefactor of blessed memory, as a sign of eternal gratitude by the Sajó Gömör Evangelical Church, in 1936 ; - Benefactors of our church and school: Miklós and József Szent-Iványi 100,000 forints for a civil school, György Mikola, church builder, pastor and doctor, Lajos Bogár, teacher, founder of the village's culture ; - Benefactors of our church: The large bell, worth 24,000 crowns, which was taken for military purposes during World War II, was donated to the church by Márton Deákpál, the middle bell by Cs. András Csala, worth 14,000 crowns, and the small bell by Péter Adorján, worth 3,000 crowns. ; Szent-Ivány Miklós founded the famous Evangelical boys' school in Sajógömör in 1884 from his own wealth as a patron. ; Mikola György, was a branch ev. pastor and alesper in Sajó-Gömör, where he died in 1900, in the 55th year of his operation, at the age of 84. ; His work: Gyászbeszéd, which was delivered by the church district assembly in Rozsnyó on May 31, 1871, at the memorial service held in the Evangelical church. Rozsnyó, 1871. ; Memorial of Lajos Bogár: ; On February 26, the great and small of the village of Sajógömör, the congregation of the Sajógömör Evangelical Church, a sad army of friends and comrades gathered around the coffin of an outstanding champion of public education, a tireless fighter of Hungarian culture. ; He was a faithful teacher of his church and village for half a century, who passed away at the age of 73, after four years of retirement, after a short but painful suffering. ; We would be ungrateful if we passed over his memory without a trace in this paper, which, standing in the service of Hungarian public education and culture, always pays tribute to the day laborers of the nation. ; Pestalozzi wrote these words on the grave of the great educator by grateful posterity: "Man, Christian, citizen, everything to others, nothing to yourself, in the name of honor." I saw the light of these words shining on the coffin of Lajos Bogár as well. ; He was a man full of kindness, the truth of the poet's words that "he who loves flowers cannot be a bad person" was confirmed in him. He was a man who recognized the person in his fellow man and valued him. He was a man, a struggling, working man, who was raised by life, by the great teacher, a self-sacrificing man and precisely for that reason "great" in the gray dust. ; He was a Christian who made these words his life principle: "pray and work." The job to which God called him was the most beautiful and thorny. He scattered the lavish treasure of his soul to the world with princely generosity and he himself remained a beggar. And yet what devotion! and with what enthusiasm he carried out the work of education, the testimony of which is the 3 generations that he raised. His church and village considered him their own dead and had his body buried in the church. ; At his grave, on behalf of the civil school: Sámuel Bencze, civil school director, on behalf of the village: Pál Németh, judge, on behalf of the Hungarian teachers' association: Lengyel Tomoljai, teacher, on behalf of his church: János Márton, second superintendent, said farewell words. ; "He did not die who spends on millions; He lived his rich treasure, although his day passes, ; But by taking off what is earthly in him. ; This is refined into a life-giving idea." ; Aladár Egyed, evangelical pastor. ; Sajógömör, February 1922.
