Monument to those killed in World War I

The World War I memorial is located in front of the park of the village's Lutheran church. The upper part of the monument, made of natural stone, shows two crossed swords embraced by branches. The relief below the inscription shows a helmeted soldier next to a cannon, a flag in his left hand and a sword in his right. A wounded soldier lies at his feet. The marble tablet below the relief contains the names of 30 Sázd residents who died a heroic death in World War I. ; Its erection was initiated in 1932, but its economic consecration only took place on November 22, 1936. The relief was made by a stonemason from Léva named Olbrich.
