Monument to the fallen heroes of World War I and II

The monument was erected in 2004 by the municipality in memory of the citizens of Jólesz who died in the world wars. The turul bird on the top of the monument was made by sculptor János Blaskó, and was a gift to the village from its sister village, Sződliget. The locals refer to the monument as Turul.
