Monument to the heroes of World War I and II in Tósnyárasd
Statue, monument, memorial plaque
During World War I and World War II, the village of Tósnyárasd had 54 heroic dead. Their memory and names were immortalized on memorial plaques placed in the Roman Catholic church. The new public cemetery was established in the village in 1975. At this place, in 1989, the Tósnyárasd Municipality established a monument to the heroes of World War I and World War II in the form of a stone cross. At the monument, the local government and the local organization of the Csemadok organize an annual commemoration of the village's heroic dead.
