Statue of Saint Elizabeth of the Árpád dynasty

A statue of Saint Elizabeth and a park were inaugurated in Ipolybalog. ; On November 18, 2007, in the year of Saint Elizabeth (in honor of the 800th anniversary of her birth), the Árpád-házi Saint Elizabeth Memorial Park and the foundation stone of the statue of Saint Elizabeth were consecrated in Ipolybalog. This year, the time has come, after the area of the memorial park has received a new look, to also inaugurate the new statue. On Saint Elizabeth's Day, November 19, the statue of Saint Elizabeth was inaugurated and consecrated. The ceremony began at noon, and the inauguration and consecration were performed by Father Ferenc György, who was also the donor of the statue. He praised the memory and example of our saint from Árpád-házi. Elizabeth dedicated her life to the elderly, the sick and the poor. For those who were waiting for spiritual comfort, needed care and nurturing.
