András Andódi was born on December 11, 1921 in Vághosszúfalu. After completing his studies, he was ordained a priest in 1946. He was a chaplain in Pobedén for one year and then spent two years in Sopornya. Between 1949 and 1959, he served in the Bratislava Bishopric. In 1959, he was active in the St. Martin's Cathedral in Bratislava. For a short time, he was the administrator of the parish in Gúta, and then (1959-1990) in Pozsonyligetfalu. From 1990, he lived in Vághosszúfalu. He spent the last part of his life in the home of elderly priests in Beckó. He died there on April 2, 2003.
