Alaska Cross
Sacral small monument
The more zealous and wealthy believers also erected crosses on their own plots of land. A wonderful cast-iron cross can be seen in the Alaska Garden, which was erected at some point (presumably between the two world wars) by Zsigmond Hegedűs, as the plot of land was originally his. The cross stem is held by an angel. ; The lower cross stem is actually a work of art made of a floral motif. The upper part of the cross, on which a cast-iron corpus can be seen, is also a masterpiece.
