Country house, craft house

In 2014, the "Clean Source Settlement" program was launched in cooperation with the Ethnographic Section of the Hungarian Academy of Arts and the Institute of Musicology of the Hungarian Academy of Arts, within the framework of which the Hungarian Academy of Arts awards the title of "Clean Source Settlement" to four settlements every year. ; ; The "Clean Source Settlement" title and the accompanying commemorative plaque were awarded to the town of Csallóköz - the second among settlements across the border after Gyergyóditró in Transylvania - by the Institute of Musicology of the Hungarian Academy of Arts, the Museum of Ethnography, the House of Traditions and the Ethnographic Section of the Hungarian Academy of Arts within the framework of the Clean Source Settlement program launched in 2014. ; The commemorative plaque was inaugurated on May 7, 2016 before the Tibor Ág choir meeting. ; After the inauguration of the memorial plaque, the Tibor Ág Memorial Room was inaugurated in the city's cultural center. The objects and tools donated by the family are almost life-size replicas of Tibor Ág's study. ; ; After the welcoming words of Deputy Mayor Dénes Mikóczy at the inauguration ceremony, Dr. Katalin Lázár, Senior Fellow at the Institute of Musicology of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, thanked the city for the work that Nagymegyer is doing in preserving the folk songs collected by Bartók, and in general in the field of preserving traditions, "we only wish to return this help." ; Mayor Sámuel Lojkovič emphasized that they are proud of the award, which the title and the plaque represent, and that it will also be given a worthy place on the wall of the house of culture, as this is the home, among others, of the Bárdos Lajos Mixed Faculty. And it is home to the Tibor Ág Memorial Room, which was opened in a long-unused room of the cultural center, in the presence of Tibor Ág's daughter, Zsóka, and son, Zoltán, who expressed their gratitude for honoring their father's legacy in this way. The study of the folk music researcher and conductor, who died three years ago, has been moved.
