Roman Catholic church dedicated to the Holy Trinity
Building, structure
The village was not spared by wars, natural disasters, or cholera. In the middle of the 19th century, a cholera epidemic devastated the residents. When the epidemic ended, in 1848, the residents of the village, led by the then judge Karácsony István and the assessors István Fekete, József Andrássy, Mihály Andrássy, János Andrássy, and Péter Andrássy, built a chapel out of gratitude and public donations. Since the chapel was consecrated, the village has held a farewell every year on Trinity Sunday. ; In 1926, Máté Katona, a citizen of the village, bought a new, larger bell, which he donated to the local chapel. This bell has been serving the residents ever since. ; The chapel served its mission until 1968, but then it had to be demolished due to its poor condition. In its place, a new, larger church was built with the social work of the residents of the village and the help of state agencies. Its great bell was provided by Szilveszter Slezák, a resident of the village. The construction work was led by Boldizsár Molnár, Ferenc Lukacsovics and Szilveszter Méri. The residents worked as social workers on the construction, which was completed in three years, in 1970. ; It is also referred to as the Chapel.
