The Somorja Municipal House of Local History

At the initiative of the Somorja Foundation of the Csemadok, primarily Lajos Presinszky, the House of Local Knowledge was opened in 1976 as a branch of the Csallóközi Museum. ; In the House of Local Knowledge, visitors can see Somorja's medieval chartered relics, documents illustrating the development of the city, as well as various tools for farming, peasant households, hemp processing and processing, and tangible relics related to fishing in an exhibition area of approximately 500 square meters. ; In 1987, a bread-baking oven was also built in the courtyard of the House of Local Knowledge. With the help of this illustrative tool, we are able to present the work process of baking bread and langos in the past.
