The All Saints Church in Sikabony

In the Sikabony district of Dunaszerdahely, in its cemetery, a church was built on the site of the former cemetery chapel, consecrated on November 25, 2012, in honor of All Saints Day. ; The plan to renovate and enlarge the then chapel was already born in 2009, but during the later works it turned out that the condition of the building, built in 1953 with the public work of the people of Sikabony, was not adequate, so it was demolished and a new, more dignified one was built in its place. ; The district did not previously have its own church, so with the sacred place consecrated in 2012 by the then Bishop of Nagyszombat, János Orosch, Dunaszerdahely now has two churches after 700 years. ; The floor area of the church is more than 100 m2, and the number of seats is 100 (60 seats and 40 standing).
