Péntek Barna (1894-1974) was a road guard in Rimaszombat, who came to Nemesradnót from Bátka. Later he took on carpentry work in the village and the roofs of almost every outbuilding are the work of his hands. At that time, almost every family kept bees in a beehive according to the old method. Péntek Barna was the first in the village to make hives and the frames for them, first for himself and then for the villagers. ; His son, Barna Péntek Jr., died of pneumonia at the age of 24.
