Lajos Istók comes from a blacksmith family. They came to Nemesradnót from Feled. He lived in the blacksmith's house as an employee of the public domain. As a blacksmith, he made horseshoes, shod horses, sharpened plowshares, made swivel rings with nails to tie cows, and did all kinds of small jobs for the farmers of the village and the neighboring village. Later, he built his own house and worked in the workshop he set up there even in his old age.
