The Harp of Moses

1. The harp of Moses.
When he rests in my bed.
I remember even today,
That Stephen is at this house.

2. We came to him this evening.
Let us greet him with health.
If he has understood this day,
Praise his patron saint.

Let us give thanks to God that we understood
as the night of the birth of our Lord Christ.
I wish from God that they may spend many more years,
in strength, health, and good fortune.
May God give them wine, wheat, peace,
eternal salvation after their death.
Those whom the Lord God calls out
from the light of the shadow,
may He grant them eternal rest.
