The manuscript of this work was ready for printing at the time of the author's death, and only his death prevented my father from publishing it himself.
Only minor refinements of the manuscript were necessary. Dr. Gyula Németh and Mr. Mihály Balla were kind enough to undertake this task: the former revised both the manuscript and the typesetting from a linguistic and the latter from a stylistic point of view,
of course without changing anything in the merits of the original text. I would like to thank them for their selfless efforts.
