The headstone was erected by the local government in 1998 on the 765th anniversary of the first written record of the village, which also commemorates the 150th anniversary of the Hungarian Revolution and War of Independence and the 50th anniversary of the resumption of Hungarian schools. ; The headstone was renovated in 2012 by the Kisújfalus Local Government and the Reformed Church.
