The headstone of the community's teachers
Statue, monument, memorial plaque
We have had records of the school since 1753, as it was only then that a parish was established, and so were the church archives. Based on these, the school and the cantor's residence were built in 1795 on the current site by the noble Count Ferenc Pálffy of Erdőd. A new school with two classrooms was built in 1855, and the cantor's residence in 1865. The village of Nyárasd and its communities had it erected in memory of the teachers who served the spiritual growth of their community.
