Memorial plaque for the displaced and deported

The memorial plaques of the displaced and deported, inaugurated in 1999, in the main square, commemorate those who suffered the anti-Hungarian measures of the years following World War II. ; In Csallóköz, the settlements most affected by the deportation included Gúta and Megyercs. ; ; The following families were resettled from Megyercs to Gyönk: László Semsei, Zoltán Semsei, Ignác Tóth, Gáspár Dusa, Rudolf Dusa, László Dusa, Gyula Kasznár, János Závódszki, Lajos Závódszki, Ferenc Farkas, Géza Farkas, Dezső Farkas, Ede Jakab, Imre Bartalos, Elek Szoboszlai, Máté Szoboszlai, Imre Simig.
