The monument erected in honor of the Hungarians from (Czechoslovakia) who were deported in the years after World War II based on the Beneš decrees was inaugurated on April 20, 2013. The work, located in the city's leisure park, was commissioned by the Association for the Preservation of Hungarians. ; The black marble plaque depicts a train symbolizing the deportations, and the inscription around the unfortunate people heading there.

“In memory of the Hungarian compatriots from the Highlands who were undeservedly deported and deported by the Czechoslovak authorities between 1945 and 1948; ; The man became cheap and the nation became prey, ; Unfortunately, he had to suffer all this. ; I wish the good God would have mercy on us, ; He would hear our prayers that tremble on our lips, ; They would not torture innocent peoples, ; Among them ours - the Hungarian nation. ; ; Held by the Hungarian Preservation Party, April 20, 2013”
