Woodcarving Camp of the Bercsényi Miklós Csemadok Foundation of Kaposkelecsényi

The event has been organized by the Kaposkelecsényi Miklós Bercsényi Csemadok Foundation since 2010. Its main venue is the garden of the Erdélyi János Hungarian Language Elementary School in Nagykapos, where Zoltán Réti from Székelyföld, Béla Halavács from Transcarpathia, and Attila Árvai from the Highlands are the permanent leaders and masters of the camp, in which local and surrounding students, interested people, and hobby carvers are constantly involved. The organization covers part of the costs of the events from grants won in a tender, and local entrepreneurs and private individuals also help a lot in the organization. ; ; Most of the works and sculptures completed in the carving camp can be viewed in the courtyard of the Hungarian Community House in Nagykapos, as well as in Kaposkelecsény and at several points in Nagykapos. ; ; The works completed in the camp between 2010 and 2016: ; ; - the Tree of Life of Inclusion ; - monument to Count János Esterházy; - Coat of arms of the Hungarian Reformed Church; - Statue of the Guardian of the Carpathians; - Bust of István Széchenyi; - Statue of the Sleepy Leader; - 2 statues of Turul; - memorial column in honor of the 1848/49 revolution and war of independence; - memorial column in honor of the 1956 revolution and war of independence; - Nameplates for the Hungarian school and kindergarten in Nagykapos; - Several headstones, in different sizes; - Székely gate; - Statue of Saint László; - memorial plaque on the occasion of the Áron Márton memorial year; ; ; ;
