Cemeteries, tombstones, graves

Gyula Bodon (1906-1921) was born in Nemesradnót as the son of Dénes Bodon and Ilonka Balyo. He lost his mother in 1907. His father remarried and died in 1914 during World War I. His grandparents, József Dóri Balyo and Rozália Balyo, took care of him, and he died at the age of 15. In their grief, the grandparents cast a bell in memory of their deceased loved ones. The inscription on the bell reads: The eternal holy trinity is one God, for the glory of God, cast as a gift for the Reformed Church of Balogújfalus by József Dóri Balyó and his wife Rozália Balyó in memory of their daughter, Dénesné Bodon Ilonka Balyó, who died on June 2, 1907, and their grandson, Gyula Bodon, who died on September 2, 1921, in 1933. The inscription GYULA is on the other side of the bell.
