The headstone of Csilizardvány
Statue, monument, memorial plaque
In 1990, the village of Csilizradvány and the Hungarian village of Réty, a Székely settlement near Sepsziszentgyörgy, established contact. The people of Csilizradvány sent books to Transylvania and welcomed the children there for a holiday. The headstone was made in the Hungarian village of Transylvania and was handed over on June 8, 1990, as a symbol of the friendship (brotherhood) between the two settlements. The headstone stands in the courtyard of the Csilizradvány cultural center, in front of which the people of Csilizradvány organize their historical commemorations.
