The Csemadok Nagymegyer Foundation Association held its "first" founding meeting on June 5, 1949, in the building of the former Catholic Youth Center, which at the time was the city cinema, today's city library. Since the Association's statutes had not yet been approved at that time, the founding meeting had to be repeated on January 25, 1950. On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Association's founding, the Csemadok Nagymegyer Foundation Association prepared a commemorative plaque about the event, which was unveiled in a ceremonial setting on June 5, 1999.
