The Calvary of Bősi
Sacral small monument
The erection of the hundred-year-old Calvary, located not far from the church, was initiated by parish priest Ferenc Kirchknopf. ; It was consecrated on May 5, 1907. The Calvary hill was built by the faithful, and the wood for the three crosses was provided by János Kneiff, a landowner from Bősi (a resident of Gyúr). ; Parish priest Kirchknopf himself painted the crosses, while the pictures on the three galvanized sheets were painted by Edit Nagy (daughter of Ignác Nagy, a landowner from Varjas). The former pictures of the individual stations were made in Budapest. (The current pictures are the work of Ferenc Vida Jr.)
