The building of the Balony National School

A school was already operating in the village of Balony in 1830. The national school, which provided education in Hungarian, was opened in the building on Fő Street in 1949/50. Its sign from the 1950s can still be seen on the outside wall of the building. The school in the village ceased to exist during the zoning of the 1970s.
