Statue of Saint John of Nepomuk in Balazsfa Hill
Sacral small monument
On the border of the former Enyed (Enyedpuszta) we find the statue of St. John of Nepomuk, one of the most famous saints in Central Europe, the saint of bridges and the martyr of the secret of confession. The foundation statue was already mentioned in the 1846 visitation of Dunaszerdahely, and its founder - based on the two coats of arms on its pedestal - was probably the local Kondé family of Pókatelek and the Orosz family of Balázsfa, in the second half of the 18th century.
