Memorial to the victims of World War II
Cemeteries, tombstones, grave sites
The tombstone erected for the residents of Kőkeszi who died in World War II was erected in the new, upper cemetery, where the residents of the settlement organize a commemoration every year. The tombstone was erected at the initiative of Ferenc Szalay - who took an active part in the organization of the local Csemadok and the MKP, and was a full member of the Palóc Society - by the residents who were buried in the new cemetery (the costs were paid jointly). ; Ferenc Szalay (Kőkeszi, v.
