A carved wooden monument made for the 770th anniversary of the village's reconstruction after the Tatar invasion. "The village itself is first mentioned in 1244 as 'Egyház Chalamija', in the document in which King Béla IV gives the castle of Kóvár to a certain Miklós, the son of Szugy."
